Are you interested to launch your career in offshore online surveying?

As an Online Surveyor Trainee you will learn skills and gain experience in:

▪Support to the installation and verification of Survey and Positioning systems.

▪ Assisting with calibration of Survey and Positioning systems including alongside calibrations.

▪ Performing QC dimensional control surveys.

▪ Conduct observations of seawater parameters.

▪ Understanding ROV offsets.

▪ Supporting remotely operated and autonomous underwater vehicle operations.

▪Performingsurvey and positioning operations associated with installation of subsea pipelines, umbilicals and structures, platforms, and jackets.

▪Assisting with preparation of survey reports.

▪Planning survey data acquisition to ensure compliance with client specifications and project procedures.

▪Ensuring that clear and accurate online survey logs are maintained stored and backed up.

▪Acting as Report Coordinator if required producing field reports and memos.

▪ Communicating effectively during operations to direct ROV and vessel crew.

▪ Participating in risk assessments and tool box talks in the course of day-to-day activities.

▪ Conducting all activities following Company Procedures and Work Instructions.

▪ Adhering to Company safety, health and environmental procedures and policies.

Requirements

Essential:

​

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geomatics, Hydrographic Surveying or a related subject (or an appropriate military qualification)

• 0 -1 year of relevant experience in survey related discipline

•Understanding of offshore survey principles and techniques

• Basic knowledge of industry standard surveying equipment and software

• Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision

• Ability to work both independently and within an international team

•Fluent in English

•This is an offshore role, working on board company and third party vessels on rotation (35/35) as part of an in international team.Extensive travel is required to support the company’s projects on a worldwide basis.
