Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Senior Dive System Technician - Electrical
Inspection and Maintenance:
- Conduct
routine inspections of electrical components within dive systems.
- Perform
preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Identify
and address potential issues before they become major problems.
Repair and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose
and repair electrical malfunctions in dive systems.
- Troubleshoot
and resolve issues related to wiring, connectors, sensors, and other
electrical components.
- Collaborate
with the broader technical team to address complex problems.
Testing and Calibration:
- Conduct
electrical testing to verify the proper functioning of components.
- Calibrate
sensors, controllers, and other electronic systems to meet safety and
performance standards.
Documentation:
- Maintain
detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Document
any modifications or upgrades to electrical systems.
Collaboration:
- Work
closely with other technicians, engineers, and dive system specialists to
ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Provide
input for system improvements and modifications.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere
to established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure
that all electrical components meet industry safety standards.
Requirements
- Education:
- High
school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical
certification or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a
related field
- Experience:
- Proven
experience as an electrical technician, preferably with expertise in
diving or similar life support systems.
- Familiarity
with underwater electrical components is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong
understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Proficient
in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability
to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Communication:
- Effective
communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey
technical information clearly.
- Attention
to Detail:
- Meticulous
attention to detail in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical
components.
- Problem-Solving:
- Strong
problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address electrical issues
effectively.
